So yeah, pretty basic topic. What movies have you seen recently, or which ones are you looking forward to? I really haven't seen any movies lately (though I've been rewatching a certain concert over and over again, but that doesn't really count.) HOWEVER! I am looking forward to Distance Love, a short 20 minute movie starring none other than Ayumi Hamasaki~ I can't wait! It'll be cooming out in about a week, but I doubt it'll be subbed for a while.

Hmm well...I was looking forward to watching Sicko. Though in terms or actually looking forward to a movie coming out...well I'd have to say its a sequel to a movie that I've been obsessed with recently, as many others were in 2006 and that would be High School Musical 2...

I recently saw "The Identity", a really good thriller/borderline scary movie a couple of days ago. I was impressed with this movie, which trust me doesn't happen very often. Before that I saw "Dead Silence".........which left me awake at night for a week >_>;;
The only movie i'm REALLY looking forward to is "LIEKSA!" A Finnish film, coming out sometime in the fall. I hope someone subs it TT_TT

Oooookayy, I see no one has mentioned Harry Potter yet. Which I find strange, but I've already seen it anyway. (: It was great, I waited outside for a whole hour before they actually let us in the theatre doors, and when they did, everyone started running to the cinema where Harry Potter was playing. I was at the front of course, since I had been there so early, so I was leading the pack. I'm talking about *sprinting*, it was like a 100m dash all over again... Anywho, it was actually really funny, because all the employees kind of looked at us in shock for a second before moving into action. Some security guy tried to stop me, but I just dodged him. Some things are more important than the law, you know. And I got the best seats in the damn house! Woot~ (Then I waited another 45 minutes for the movie to actually start...darn) But yeah, it was fun. I recommend the movie too. (:

Saw HP5, didn't like it, did no justice to the book (though the 5th book was my favorite, I read the 6th and fell in love with it, then the 7th came out and its my new altime favorite)

The 5th book was my favorite too! It may just be because I love student rebellion, but I think the real reason is Tonks. <3 I found the 6th book really good too, although OotP never left it's special place in my heart. As for DH...let's just say that I got the book at midnight, read until 8 the next morning at my friend's house, and was still bawling my eyes out when my mom picked me up at 12 ...I was not a fan. But whatever floats your boat! It's nice to meet you, by the way! I hope we'll be roleplaying together in the future.

OoTP the movie was interesting, but somewhat disappointing sadly. I found that they left out quite a few things and there was less interaction between the characters and more focus on mythical things and Umbridge. She was a main focus of the book but geez.
Otherwise most of it was ok, Luna was hilarious with her dreamy voice! Yay for Luna Lovegood! And DA was portrayed somewhat well too.
I liked the fifth book too, mind you Harry really acted like a brat at the beginning which bothered me but besides that it was good. The DA and Dumbledore actin mysterious, the prophecy, Umbridge and the whole Order was very amusing and fun to read, though it got somewhat...well I suppose darker but still had remnants of the old books as well.
But yes, *cough* moving from the book, I've really wanted to see No Reservations, it looks interesting actually, though more of a comedy, but you can never get enough of restaurant humor.

I have not, yet I know i'll eventually see it, lol.
I just finished watching Madagascar. It ain't old school Disney, but considering all the crappy 3d animation crap that Disney is creating lately, this was ok. The lemurs and penguins were the only awesome thing.

I fiiiiiiiiinally saw HP5 It was very good. Imo, Dumbledore should've had more parts in it cause he freakin' dies in the next one, but still, they did an AMAZING job with Umbridge/Bellatrix/Luna. Umbridge is such an awesome character eeee!!! And Bella, too *__*. AND LUNA!! I think they're my three favorite characters from the HP series
