This will be the thread to suggest new jobs. I already have two
Polymorpher: someone who shapeshifts Summoner: Someone who can summon great beasts to aid them

Since it seems a lot of people on this board would like to manipulate time as their one "superpower". xD Maybe we should have a job to do with that? No time-travelling, mind you, just maybe freezing time for a few minutes.

yeah, like a time-mage. He cud also slow enemies down, or speed allies up. A gunner would be cool, but thats kinda god-modding. too bad T_T

You could make someone who uses gun's as a mercenary...though as for the time mage that does sound like an interesting suggestion, it would have to take alot of energy though. It would be interesting to have more artistic jobs...though it would be more difficult for them to have weapons or to copies idea's. Like having an artist job for example.

But then again anyone who chooses warrior can choose most weapons, and i think guns wwould be a choice. Also, the summoner would be too cheap. This is why we have Tamer.

not really, a tamer has like one or two familiars, and they stick with them. a summoner can summon a lot of different monsters, and its just for a fight then they unsummon them

Hm...though then again it depends, considering what exactly could a summoner summon? Would they only be able to summon certain set monsters or would they be able to summon something the author thought up on the spot? Thing's would be a bit unfair if the latter were so...
And can't Tamer's tame new familiar's? Considering they could easily get rid of the one's they have or leave them behind somewhere to be switched with during or before another adventure.

Time-Mage is probably going to be implemented most likely, thanks for the idea. Polymorpher/Shapeshifter may be added as an exclusive race, actually, but probably a bit later. Summoners I'm going to have to say No too. As it was mentioned, Tamers are there, but Summoners wouldn't exactly work in this game. If you compare it to a Final Fantasy summoner, the worlds of FF are inhabited by mystical beasts who lend you their power and you can summon them. There are no mythical beasts that have immense power who would lend it out to people at will, and summonning random monsters would just seem kind of odd. You'd have to tame them first, and in that sense, the Summoner just becomes another Tamer. Of course, I will keep that idea in mind in case I do intend to make a Summoner-esque job, but for now, I'm gonna have to say No. Thanks for the suggestions though

Since there is some kind of stealth system here from the Theif and Shadower Jobs, why not an assassin?

A few suggestions--(I'm making these definitions up as I go, so give me a break**)
Acrobat--Acrobats are extremely agile, and specialize in avoiding attacks. They are not strong, but un-matched bobbing, weaving, dodging, and leaping techniques. Acrobats are extremely fast and precise in all of their movements.
Detective- A sleuth. The Detective is good and hiding, and can pick appart his opponents weak points by observing them from a distance. The Detective is also superb at locating valuable items, gold, and ways out. They have almost photo-graphic memories, and can adequately defend themselves in a scuffle, even though the prefer otherwise.
Beast Whisperer-unlike the tamer, the whisperer can physically talk to animals. This can allow the whisperer to gain access to secret places or knowledge. The only problem is there is not a guaranteed chance the creature will do their bidding. Some animals are very fickle and do not talk with just anyone.
Athlete: An athlete has the perfect body. Capable of almost impossible physical feats, the athlete can lift mroe than the storngest warrior, run faster than the fleetest elf, and hit harder than the most powerful monk. They make supreme boxers, although they are generally not trained in martial arts. Their endurance is unmatched and their bodies are incredibly durable.
Seductress--A female (or male) that is capable of seducing the opposite sex. Fantastic assassins, seductresses can use their feminine wiles to abduct, kill, or wound their prey. They are also superb poisoners.
Soul Mage--A magician who derives his/her power from the soul of vanquished enemies. Unlike other magicians who rely on mana, the soul mage requires a deceased spirit to perform his/her magic. Soul magic is quite potent, and its spells do not tire or weary the caster. Most soul mages have a weapon of some sort, generally long range, as back up.
**-Of that Kit Kat bar.
