They were going home. Well at least to their mother's home, when one was of two such different races there really wasn't a home; besides, elementals, especially water ones moved and flowed throughout their lifespans. Which could be quiet long, if they weren't foolish or greedy. Althia Thui and her sister were neither thankfully, though she did spare a moment to wonder if perhaps doing this was foolish. A sigh parted her full lips as the tall slender female halted and sank down onto the river bank that fed into Untouched Lake, their destination. She wasn't sure she was up to seeing her mother.
Leda had been an odd creature for her kind, after Neputnite women didn't normally sleep with men of Air and Fire. Yet Leda had, and had born a child for each. And had not stayed with either, for a water nymph Leda was a paragon for inconsistency. Althia had always felt more kinship with her father then her mother, Air and Water had balanced out the major character flaws she saw in each of her parents though, but it made her perhaps too reserved and careful; too withdrawn from all but Leala.
The pale female idly toyed her fingers through strands of grass, inhaling the clean scent of the plants around her. At least this close to Untouched Lake there was no pollution to bother her senses or cloud them. It was useful to have Leala to travel with her because when impurities made her feel weak her sister could use her fire powers to burn them away, just like Althia could use Air to aid her sister. Althia was not one who easily opened her thoughts or emotions to anyone, however she did trust her sister more then anything. A sister that was currently missing.
Leala was more curious and brave in nature then Althia, Thia preferred isolation and solitude, nature and quiet, too many people upset her at times, though she could hide it. All she wanted was what she had right here, to be left with the sunshine pouring down and over her pale skin and the plants blooming and surrounding her, the sound of the brook just a few feet away moving. Her tumble of black hair flowed down and framed a elegantly structured face, clear silvery eyes at peace as she hummed softly to herself. Leala should be reappearing soon.
