Congratulations on giving your valuable resolution to the revival of the site! But, reviving an old site is an age-old practice dimensions more complicated than using a Phoenix Down. So... 1st: Gotta chuck the old posts. It's been 6 months; they'll just make the site seem more far along (and therefore inaccessible to newcomers) than it really is. 2nd: Fresh advertising. I've pulled this other site here in my travels which seems to get some decent thoroughfare: rpg-directory.com/So have a looksie, neh? 3rd: Cleaning out some of the inactive accounts, though this one should be saved for last. Again, kinda hard to attract newbies if... Well, there's some other things, but I wouldn't want to stress you out, neh?

Whoa, I'm liking this productivity Yes, renovations are heavily in order, and I've started doing some graphical ones that should be up shortly. In regards to the old posts, I'm thinking we just post more in each section so it's not saying, like, "Last post: December 2007" or something. I'm not sure whether or not chucking posts will affect our overall post count as a forum (plus I like to keep most things preserved), but I do know that most new members do tend to look at that count as an indicator as to how active the forum generally is. As for RPG Directory, I shall certainly have a looksie It seems vaguely familiar, actually. And lastly, there are some inactive accounts (that are actually just spambots...) that are going to be cleared out, but again to keep our member count up and for those wanting to return (eventually), I'm probably going to keep it as it is. The counts for forum posts and member counts are superficial, but they do play a part in someone's decision whether or not to join a forum. Anyway, keep the suggestions coming, I do feel a lot more motivated knowing my members have an active interest in keeping the forum alive Thank you!

Well, since you're already renovating, I sort of feel I should ask: the links to the homepage/board that you see while in a thread, up at the top of the thread? They're kind of hard to read and I can't always see them sometimes. Could you lighten the font color a little, please?

Haha, I tried to fix that once but it changed a lot of the other text on the site (like, text that wasn't just on the background) and made it look really strange... I'll give it another shot though to find something that works for everything.
