Registration: Open! Characters Needed: 4 Read the Rules An Inn at Persys Port town has been hearing sounds of great activity during the night, but the innkeeper and the tenants have shrugged it off - it was an Inn, one that housed dozens of different people a night, surely there'd be some nocturnal activity as not everyone would be asleep. Upon further investigation, however, the Innkeeper has realized that the large and almost warehouse-like basement storage room he has forsaken (instead preferring the safe, smaller, and cozier attic the building had to offer) has become a black market or bazaar for thieves.
We're not talking criminal masterminds here, but lowly thugs and criminals have been coming in and out and trouble is sure to be brewing. Therefore, in the dead of night, the Innkeeper has hired but 4 adventurers to take care of them. Hiring anymore would be costly, and he figured the four, plus the town guards if need be, would be more than capable of dealing with a few grunts. Obviously smarter than the monsters they're used to facing, these thieves should still be quick work. (Keeping the Character limit down just a tad so that this can progress quickly and we can actually complete one of these! Just post as your character entering the Inn - Registration is first come, first served!)

It was the dark of night, an inn seized by terror, and a small group of people to work with. In short, it was the perfect situation for the aspiring tactician and journeyman Raiden to test out his skills and observe other fighters in their natural habitat; that is, bashing in the skulls of wrongdoers. Of course, it helped that his wallet was dreadfully barren; a desert may have had more signs of activity.
He approached the innkeeper with a tentative smile. "Sign me up, Johnny!" As he said this, he swung his wooden sword in a circle while setting it alight as a small demonstration of talent.

'Just another job...' Axiel thought to himself as he nodded to the Innkeeper's frantic pleas. He looked over at the door leading to the basement and heard unmistakeably the sounds of people shuffling around, trying and failing at conducting their business in silence.
He nodded at the Magus who he assumed was his ally in this assignment. "I feel bad for the thieves on the other end of that." he remarked. He tried not to sound too friendly, but distant and professional. It was just another job, after all...
