The Three Melodian Eves (Click Above to read about each seperate Eve)[/center] The Three Melodian Eves are probably the three biggest festivals in all of Melodia. They are celebrated around the globe on their three seperate dates; March 21st (Harmony), October 31st (Symphony) and December 24th (Melody). As their names would suggest, each Eve is celebrated at night, and each are celebrated in dedication of the Three Muses. Each Eve has its own themes and activities, but most important is the Music. The eves have varied forms of music, but each has the intention of uniting its believers under the spell of song. Minstrels and Dancers are usually busy these days, entertaining and taking part in the musical festivities. However, the most significant event of these three nights is the effect it has on the moon of Melodia, Ambrosia. The figure of one of the three muses (depending on which Eve it is) appears as a vague silhouette against the moon, visible to all. Every year this image burns in the moon on its respective night, for reasons no scholar or magician can figure out. They say that every year the image gets more and more vague, and that centuries ago the very facial features of the Muses could be made out. It is said that the appearance of the Muses on Ambrosia is to show that they are watching over Melodia. That's why music is always played - to serenade the Muses, watching over on their special night.
