(( Lmao yes. You read right. Persha is going to fight. Now, I know this is more like sending her to her death, but then again, battles don't have to be all about brute strength/winning/losing, they can also just be plain amusing. Which this battle most likely will be. So... who will challenge her? :3 ))

Theo glanced from left to right, his eyes keen on his surroundings. He knew someone was here, in this meadow, but he wasn't sure who. He turned around, sure that no one was there, when he bumped quite hard into a young female with magenta streaks running through her long black hair. He backed up a bit, then gave a cocky smile as he chuckled a little.
"Hey there, babes. You wanna play?"

Persha immediately began to freak out. She had just been the victim of another teleportation spell. She had been in her parents' office, once again, being scolded for misbehaving, when suddenly she was teleported to this battlefield. Great. Her parents must hate her. Maybe she was an accident.
Persha examined who she assumed was her opponent. Dammit, he was cute. That was going to complicate things. Of course, being the Queen of Heartbreaks and Rejections and being slobbered on by countless boys, Persha had more experience when it came to relationships than battle.
"Do we have to fight?" she asked sweetly, squeezing her arms together to emphasize on her cleavage. "I'm a lover, not a fighter." she winked.

Theo grinned a cocky smile back at the girl, clearly amused. This was going to be fun.
"Lover, eh? Sorry, you'll just have to wait behind the other 400 girls who've screamed that they wanted me, claimed to love me, ask me to marry them, yatta yatta yatta." He waved his hand, giving the impression that he'd seen it before, done it before, and that this girl was pretty ordinary in looks. She was nothing new, and certainly not special.
He pulled out his longsword, hoping this girl wasn't some type of mercenary. "Come on, sweet cakes, let's go."

Wait, wait, wait. Had he just rejected her? No one rejected Persha Angela Lorania. No one. Did he know how many guys would kill just for a glance from the young magus?
"Four-hundred?" she unsqueezed her arms and placed them on the side of her hips in irritation. "Someone thinks highly of themselves..." she rolled her eyes hypocritically.
"Whatever! You don't know what you just turned down. I mean, for the love of the Muses, what were you thinking? Gah, whatever. You certainly will not live long enough to regret your actions, for I am Persha the Great! The most famous Magus in all of Melodia! The heiress to the Melsaria University! And weilder of the fiercest spells known to mankind!"
Okay, so she was stretching the truth just a little. She hoped that her little rant would either cause him to fall hopelessly in love with her after hearing her name (which she assumed he HAD to know), or he would get scared by the slightly false threat and would run off.

Persha the Great, eh? More like Persha the Pain. Theo had been wandering around Melodia long enough to hear of Melsara University, and the name Persha definitely rang a bell. Now if only he could remember who she was... he knew she was royal, although exactly royal of what, he decided not to comment on. Persha... Persha... Persha... why did that name sound so familiar, yet he couldn't place it?
He concealed his thoughts by pretending to ignore her, instead looking at his sword and wiping off a few dirty spots with his cloak. Then he looked back at her, his face showing he was bored. Man, was she annoying and spoiled...
It was then that the name Persha struck gold. She's that annoying brat in the Melsara University, the daughter of the head mage. Bingo! This was about to get really interesting.
Finally smirking back, he laughed a bit. "Sorry. I don't date girls with their heads up their ass." He twirled his sword a bit. "Let's go."

"D-Don't take another step! I'm warning you! I'll summon a fireball the size of your inflated head, which is pretty damn big." She retorted, holding her sceptre out threateningly and hoping he would take her seriously.
"You won't hurt a little lady like me! I mean, if you did, then you'd have the entire royal guard of Melsaria down your throat!" she yelled, again hoping her threat would have an effect. Seeing as her father was the one who had SENT her here, there probably wasn't much of a chance that they would send back up.
"I'm warning you...!"

Hah. This girl really IS spoiled. Okay, time to screw with her head for a bit.
Theo still had his crazy smirk on his face as he saw Persha threatening him with, what he guessed were, weak promises. After hearing her threaten about sic-ing the Melsara guard on him, he concentrated. Slowly, Persha's movements slowed almost to a grinding halt, as if he had decided to run a movie frame by frame. He hadn't stopped time, just slowed it. Walking carefully, and avoiding leaving traces of moving through time, Theo made his way over to Persha until he was behind her. Then, carefully and delicately, he placed his longsword a bit away from her neck. Then he brought time back to normal.
Persha finished with her "I'm warning you!" and Theo chuckled from behind, holding the sword lightly against her neck now.
"Warning me with what?" He asked. He took a breath in, knowing this would insult the girl. "You hair smells lovely today. Like lilacs."

"What the hell did you just do?" She exclaimed, feeling the metal press into her neck softly. This was definitely not what she expected. What magic tricks did this guy have under his sleeves anyway? He didn't look like anything other than a (somewhat cute) mercenary.
"You asked for it, mister."
Of course, Persha knew very little magic, despite what she may have told the Timeweaver. So, summoning a tiny frost spell, she concentrated all her power out of her sceptre, which was directly underneath the blade. Slowly, Theo's blade began freezing over, and sure enough, she saw his hand began to shake due to the added weight of the weapon.
She may not be good at magic, but her mind was (despite what others may think) sharp enough to use what little magic she had effectively.

His hand felt cold, holding onto the blade, which was getting heavier every moment. Dammit. The girl actually did know magic. How disappointing. This was going to be harder than he had imagined.
Thinking fast, Theo took the blade and actually used what strenth he had over it to throw it down into the ground right beside Persha, barely missing one of her feet. Then he quickly moved his other arm and tried to swipe her sceptre and take it away from her.
If that didn't work, he'd have to get dirty and go timeweaving again. I haven't had this much fun in years, he thought to himself.
"Ooh, sweet cakes, nice move. I think I'm in love."

Rather infuriated with the Timeweaver's cockyness, Persha swung her sceptre into his face, realising a second later that that was a bad move. Once she had done that, it had given him a clear opening to swipe her sceptre away.
Oh great. she groaned mentally. Magic was one of those things that had to be controller through a medium, usually a staff or wand of some sort. Without something to channel it, it was more or less free energy that was harder to control.
Oh well. That's his loss! she thought evilly, Powering up the smallest of wind spells. Soon, stray blasts of wind were flying from her hand. Due to her lack of magical training, she could not control the erratic spells, but attemped to aim them at Theo anyway. Her aiming was completely off, so she hoped she'd get lucky.

Theo felt a small whack to his face and his hands instantly grabbed her sceptre. Freeing her from that weapon, he tumbled forward, and then stood up, sceptre still in hand. Closing his eyes, he smirked.
"Well, sweetcakes, looks like you just ran out of-"
Then he felt two new cuts form on his face. He noticed that despite the young magus having no sceptre, she was throwing wild blasts of wind at him. Weak or not, she had put a scar on his face. Here we go, he thought. And at that, he stood in his spot, letting the weak and wild wind blasts blow by him. He received a few more cuts, but nothing more. Then, lowering himself a bit, he concentrated. The world began to slow once more, but he allowed it to only slow a bit down, not very much. He charged, elbow out, and just before he was about to hit her, he returned time to normal. Miss Pain-in-the-butt Persha was about to get a gut-full of his elbow.
"By the way, sweetheart, the name's Theo."

"The-OWWWWWWWWWW!" Persha exclaimed, gasping for air as she held her stomach. Her wind spell immediately ceased and she keeled over, blinking away tears of pain. She got up, her eyes out of focus and her vision bleary. There was no way she could possibly fight in this condition.
She got up slowly and lifted her hand, trying to summon the strongest ice spell she knew. The most she could summon was a few stray beams of cold water that splashed to the ground hopelessly.
That was when she got an idea. Focusing her magical power into keeping the fallen water alive, she summoned what magical power she had to conjure vines that shot out of the ground and entangled the Timeweaver. It had been one of the few spells she was good at it, but it rarely had any effect on monsters, so she rarely used it.
Like snakes, the thorned vines wrapped themselves around Theo's arms and legs and waist. Still holding her stomach, she looked at the boy with a triumphant smirk.

Theo suddenly felt the vines come out of nowhere, like snakes with a vengeance. They wrapped around his arms, legs, and waist.
"Huh? What the hell?!" He was quite surprised she had actually used her head in the midst of battle, and used it for such a good tactic. Smiling cockily, his mind racing to how to outdo this, he told her "Nice move, so now what're you going to do with me, sweetcakes?"
His mind suddenly remembered he was in a bunch of vines. And vines can swing whichever way you move. Moving his feet ever so slightly, he felt the vines wave back and forth. This is good. He started swaying a bit, hoping the girl wouldn't notice. Then, when he felt he had enough momentum, he launched his entire body at her, vines still attached. He hoped to cling to her, and hold on.
In the midst of this, his aim was off by just a bit, because the next thing he knew, he not only was close to Persha, he was kissing her.

He was coming closer and closer, and the next thing she knew, his lips were planted on hers. Then, she lost it. Rage. That was the only emotion she could sense. No one kissed Persha Angela Lorania without earning it! He may have stolen a kiss from her, but he would not live long enough to savour it.
After recent events, Persha was beginning to find that her magic was a lot more powerful when she was angry. In fact, her fire magic was a lot more potent when she was enraged, whereas it was almost non-existant when she wasn't.
Lucky for her, and unluckily for Theo, she was currently enraged.
Her hands both glowed brightly as flames danced around them, and she pushed him away, igniting the vines surrounding him. "DIE!!" she yelled fiercely as she poured what was left of her magic into the fire spell.
