i just thoguhtt here should be a job that has a mix of both magic and fighting. Not like weak of each, but an average or good amount of each. It should be one that requires a higher post count, though.

Hm...it is a good idea, and one could have it even in some of the other jobs, depending on what you consider magic, its just that it might seem unfair at times to others because both can be used fairly evenly.

Mind you...if Members with a higher post count could use it I think it would be alright, considering it would be more of a special class job. Just what would be its name...hm...

Hm...it would make sense actually, considering the name or word Adept is usually used in video games to refer to Magic users...or well in Golden sun anyway. And it does sound like a very good title, it flows fairly well...it would be very nice actually.

Hmmm... I was sorta wanting Kankuro to be like Kratos Aurion in Tales of Symphonia and this characteristic would do that but, eh... kinda too late for Kankuro... he's now more built to fight. XD

Hmm...I'm not sure about that whole blend of magic/fighting people, since it's hardly my area of expertise. (Being a non-videogame player )
But -- I think it would be cool to have jobs that require a certain number of posts! And they could be cool, uber jobs. Actually, do we already have that "feature"? I'm such a bad member...xD I'll go check.

Hmmm I don't think any jobs require a certain amoutn of posts, species yes, but not jobs. The idea that Post Counts matter for different things can certainly be built upon and used to make different things.

Things like Messengers or Holy Knights could be made...though they can already be implied depending on the background story of a character but having them as a job would be fun either way.

Or maybe when you have a certain amount of posts, you can upgrade your class! Like, from Warrior to Knight to Crusader and so on... I think THAT'S a pretty good idea.

Yes, its way too late to make Kankuro like Kratos. Kratos is the most awesome character in the history of forever. Enough said.

kratos was the lamest character again!!! (now everyone watch as Drakar and I have thios debate for the next 200 posts) He was an agsty, emo, "wanna-be cool" guy!!! He kept lamenting over the mistakes he did but he never tries to do anything!!!! not to mention hes a social retard!!!! I HATE character like that.

But yeah, onto the job system, kick-ass idea. it wud give people a reason to join. but they have to have bigger weakness tho, other wise it wud just be god-modding, and nobody like god modders. awesome idea Drakar!! thumbs up

It might be too late for him to be like Kratos in terms of battle style, but personality wise its a different story, mind you Kankuro is good as he is, mysterious and agreesive and at times quite the funny character.

I like your idea Darkar, though I'm not too sure how you would accomplish it on a forum , unless once you have a certain amount of posts you can upgrade or something like that.

It would also be interesting if in an rp, a character can teach another magic or an ability of theirs and thus afterwards in that rp or another, the character who learned the magic/ability could use it. It would be useful, and in terms of magic or swordsmanship it can help someone's character advance. Though it might end up changing their job somewhat, so it might be odd...hm...and it might make things somewhat unfair because then people could learn everything...bother...

No... the only way I was meaning to be like Kratos was by his fighting style.. he fought with a sword and did minor attack and healing spells. But, like I said.. Kankuro was built to focus on physical attacks only so, he shall stay that way.

Yes, just saying though, but his personality is pretty set the way it is at the moment. And technically he still has quite a few aspects anyways, like the sword and the fact that he is a mercenary. Regardless he is still very interesting with the Silver Light Mercenary group and everything else...

Hmm the thing with jobs is that some are adept at many things while others are rather set in their ways, it makes things interesting but it terms of upgrading might be unfair...

Well, I really do like the idea and I think its worth having many discussions as to how it can work. Cuz in, my opinion, if we can pull this off, we can actually have awesome reasons to advertize our forum, i mean, not many forums have their own world but having this kick-ass system!? it would put other forums to shame. well, until they shamelessly copy us..lol
